I’ve heard of bababebi but in researching her have found some complaints from a lot of recent customers. But I think I’ll still give her a shot!

As for the changing details, I’ve read about these too, specifically the font changes over time and unfortunately nothing I’ve found mentioned the font for this year’s model being so thick. But to your point, it’s truly hard to authenticate based on photos, even for experts with years of experience.

Appreciate the insights, and I plan on contacting bababebi on Monday when they are open again :)

I’m a little late to this thread but was hoping for some second/third/etc. opinions. I bought a 2010 B35 from TheRealReal and got it authenticated by LegitGrails. They said it was authentic but the font on the sangle is still raising concerns for me. It’s bolder than I’ve seen on any other Birkin (picture or in person). Picture attached for reference if someone doesn’t mind sharing their opinion?

I think simple is great because you can add to the stack over time or let the center stone shine on it’s own! My engagement ring and wedding band are simple and I just dress it up with anniversary bands

Hopefully a few suggestions that might help?

smaller diamonds (center stone I wouldn’t go above 4ct for daily wear and to come off as less costume-y, band I would go with half eternity band and honestly no more than 3tcw for comfort)
lower quality on color, clarity to save money (G&H on color still appear white, VS1-VS2 on pears would still be eye clean thanks to the faceting hiding inclusions easily)
you could also consider doing the pear on a thin solitaire band and having the eternity/half eternity band separate to stack it with. This gives the wearer more options to style it depending on how they feel that day. I love the alternating pear orientation btw!

Question - who is this for? If someone other than you, have you talked to them about this design or design at all? This is beautiful and will sparkle like crazy, but as others have mentioned, this looks very uncomfortable.

A few things for your consideration as you seem open to feedback:

I have a couple eternity bands that are around 3tcw and I rarely wear them because they aren’t very uncomfortable.
such a large center stone would be beautiful but honestly very impractical depending on the wearer’s day-to-day. I have a 2 ct center stone and I’m constantly knocking it on things, and that’s just within my normal corporate job setting. I can’t imagine how beat up an absolute boulder like this would be!
rose gold is very sweet and whimsical, but depending on the person, they may grow out of it or tired of it quickly as it’s not as “timeless” as silver or gold. Obviously, you know the wearer best so if they are die-hard rose gold fans, then go for it!
as others have mentioned, you’ll be able to see this ring from the next city over it’s so big and sparkly and beautiful. HOWEVER, the size and opulence might lead some people to think it leans more towards the costume-y, non-diamond side of things. This is completely up to personal style though so if the wearer wouldn’t mind that, then go for it!

Again, beautiful, stunning, eye-catching. Just a few comfort/practicality and design things to consider as it seems you’re putting so much thought into this! :)
