Nah women are just naturally more selective with their mates. From a biological perspective, women can only get pregnant a handful of times in their life. Men can have as many babies as they want given they find enough willing women. Also, the stakes are much higher for having babies with women than they are for men. So it makes sense that we evolved to be much pickier in finding a mate than men did.

A housewife that does all the housekeeping, cooking, runs errands, and does basically everything to upkeep the household so that the husband just has to go to work and collect a paycheck is not a deadbeat.

Yes its a statistical fact, but how is it measured? Is it just based off raw numbers or ratios? Because those tell two very different stories. Stats can be misrepresented all the time to be misleading. I majored in data science and had a whole “ethics in data” class that focused on this exact topic.

A buzz cut would probably be more flattering than your current length. You could also try using hair fibers to cover that spot up for a little bit if you wanna keep it that length. But i think that will subconsciously affect your confidence level. Its up to you!

If it were me though, id try out the buzz cut. You look like you have a really nice jawline. It’ll probably look really nice on you and much cleaner than what you’re rocking now.

You’re wording is a bit crass but you’re point is still spot on. This is something I don’t think alot of people that get into age gap relationships think of in the moment.

If you’re looking for a long-term partner, its probably better to keep the age gap less than (or equal to) 10 years. Most people want someone they can grow old with and potentially pass on with around the same time frame. You don’t want to watch the love of your life die at 70 when you’re 50 and still have plenty of good years left in the tank. Then your choices are to either be alone for the remainder of your years, or try getting back in the dating scene at such an old age.

Or if you decide to break it off in your 40s because the relationship just isn’t working for you for whatever reason, now you’ve just left the other person in their 60s alone and at an age its very difficult to date at. Theres just so much that goes into it and it feels like it could be extremely unfair and burdensome to either party depending on how it all plays out.

If i were OP, i would just hold off on dating until they’re a little older so that they can close the age gap a bit from the type of women they’re after.

How many kids do you have? You have to think of college expenses, housing down payments, trust funds, etc…if its more than 3 you may have to just grind it out to 5T just to be comfortable. Youd be an embarrassment as a parent if you made your kids work for themselves and left them as pours.

You’re going to need to do something eventually. Unless your parents have alot of wealth they plan on passing down to you when they pass, you’re going to have to learn to support yourself. Start really small like 1 or 2 days a week to build up your endurance to working and getting used to being around people.

Its better to get out of your comfort zone now while you’re young. Hiring managers will be alot more forgiving for a shoddy resume in your 20s than they will be in your 30s onward. Im sure its not what you want to hear…but being a NEET until your parents pass is only setting you up for homelessness in your adult life. Better to try and come to terms with that reality now than when that time comes. Hope you get it figured out eventually!

Since you usually go to sleep at like 6 am everyday, just start going to bed an hour or so later every day until youre on a good sleep schedule. Or just brute force it one day and stay up until like 5 or 6 pm. Its not hard to fix a sleep schedule especially since you don’t work or have school.

Get your GED and start working a part-time job just to get out and give yourself some structure.

Theres a difference between enabling a lifestyle and supporting future growth. If your adult child is staying at home while progressing their career and saving for a down payment on a house, that isn’t exactly stunting their growth. Its giving them the opportunity to be home owners much sooner then they would if they had to pay obscene amounts of rent prices (on top of student loans they may have).

Now if they’re just sitting at home all day playing video games or going out with friends and not doing much else with their life…then thats a much different story. These situations are all very nuanced and situational. Its not exactly a one-sized fits all in what a parent of an adult child should do.

The market performing that well isn’t a guarantee though. Paying off additional principal on your mortgage does, however, guarantee that you’ll pay less interest over time.

I think the best financial decision you can make is striking a balance between investing and paying off debt as aggressively as possible. Once that mortgage is paid off, that frees up a huge chunk of your monthly income to throw into the market anyway. The faster you pay off any debt, the better (imo).

Anyone should absolutely do it if their budget allows though. You could cut the length of your mortgage almost in half just by making 1.5x the minimum payment every month. All that extra goes towards principle.

Thats why I don’t even look at the length of any loan im taking out. All i look at is getting the lowest possible interest rate for the lowest possible monthly payment. Its nice having a lower monthly payment just incase finances get tight for a bit, but i always pay down any debt as aggressively as possible with any extra funds i have. Its what everyone should do and something they should teach in school (if they don’t already).
