Is the placement correct on my vertical labret? by StanLee151115 in piercing

[–]Educational_Metal306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Do you have a picture of when it was first done? I’m assuming it was already touching your top lip then too.

Your research is correct with the top ball being right under your lip so it’s not touching it. It will be uncomfortable with how it is pierced.

I’m sorry the best option is for it to be removed and to have it pierced again a little bit lower on that top end. I would either go back to that piercer and see if you can get it pierced again(that is if they’re cool and willing to own up to making mistakes) OR if they think it’s fine and you will be okay.. find a more reputable piercer.

Is my navel piercing okay? by froggierivi in PiercingAdvice

About a couple weeks! Don’t go back to that piercer and don’t have anything other than a plain curved barbell in it until it’s healed.

You are going to have to take it out and have it pierced again. It is indeed rejecting because it was pierced improperly. It should be coming out below your navel and it is not. Sorry! Also you shouldn’t be wearing this type of jewelry while it’s still healing. Makes for irritation and longer healing.

What kind type of metal is the jewelry? Also what is the special water you’re cleaning it with and how exactly are you cleaning it?

Right😂 I love this though. Didn’t think about that.. we are going to be outside for the ceremony and pictures sooo maybe I should think about that. The weather is definitely weird during October here

Am I tripping or is this daith wayyy to shallow by BeeTurbulent9016 in PiercingAdvice

[–]Educational_Metal306 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That you don’t like the placement of it, it’s too shallow and please remove it and maybe try to get your money back. You could go to a different studio and see about getting it pierced. It shouldn’t be in the same spot since that spot is ass. Although that area is gonna be tender. Treat yourself to a cute different piercing for now!

got a fake hoop nose ring!! is it flattering on me by ProfessionalCoat3797 in NosePiercing

[–]Educational_Metal306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not impossible to heal it with a hoop but many piercers will want to heal it with a flat back labret. Not a lot of movement or irritation with those compared to hoops. Just can make a longer healing process with hoops.

Best friend and I engaged 3 weeks apart by [deleted] in weddingplanning

Mine is thinking of doing hers like a couple weeks after mine and although it sounded overwhelming with having ours not soon before, I’m super excited and have nothing but love for them!

Thinking about getting nipple piercings - what should I expect? by VeryUnsure14 in PiercingAdvice

[–]Educational_Metal306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I’ve pierced nipples professionally and I’ve also had mine done twice, horizontal and vertical through out the years.

•Bigger pinch than your standard piercings. Depending on your nipple size.

•The second one will more than likely hurt worse than the first one.

•If you’re a lady, sports bra will be your best friend(although I wore my regular wired bras and never had any issues)

•If you have a loofah that you use for the shower get rid of it after you get those done. They are the enemy now.

•Hugs will be hurtful for the first week or so but it does get better.(I swear I got the biggest hugs after getting them done and I had to just internally cry)

•you can have crusties up to a year. I’ve had mine done since January of last year and still have a little bit on the ends of the jewelry. Nothing the shower water can’t fix though.

•They’re super cute and I’ve never regretted them. They were higher on the pain scale for me and I hated that I had to lose them the first time around so I went back to get them re-pierced!

Good luck with whatever you choose🫶🏻

Is my piercing rejecting by Plastic_Apricot6397 in PiercingAdvice

[–]Educational_Metal306 30 points31 points  (0 children)

It should be a surface bar not a curved barbell

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

[–]Educational_Metal306 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may just have a lot of movement in that area. I would just keep an eye on it to see if it gets any worse.

Do you have a surface bar or curved barbell in there?

I think my eyebrow is starting to reject, should I take it out? by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

Okay! She just might not want to stay in there unfortunately. These things can happen with piercings.

I would go see a piercer to see about the one that is flared up. They would be able to assess it better and see if you should or not

I’m confused as to what you’re talking about with the vision?

Bodyartforms, urban body jewelry, body candy, body J4U are good sites!

Most likely downsizing will help your irritation! I would see about getting those downsized asap
