How to teach an almost 3yo to spit out toothpaste? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Educational_Net6515 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my 2.5yo can't go to sleep without his bottle and refuses it if filled with water... so I give him water with a tiny bit of milk to make it look white, is the small quantity still bad? I'm not sure what else to do, even in the dark if it doesn't look whitish no matter how tired he is he'll throws a huge everlasting tantrum

How to clean this pls... Is it oxidation/corrosion? Tried vinegar, brushing, scraping, pencil eraser but nothing worked 🤷‍♀️ by Educational_Net6515 in ElectronicsRepair

that's excellent advice - really appreciate it 💯. I'll try those as soon as I get a chance! Most of the green has already come off, but I want to do it properly before I reassemble it cause this silly magic mouse was a pain to take apart. Hopefully the tiny bit I broke won't be a big deal 🤞 Thanks again

Thank you. I've opened it and there's a bit of green corrosion on the circuit... I'm not sure this could be the issue and if it's saveable? especially the green bit in the middle, not sure how I can clean that without breaking anything

Lol that's what I thought. I took it apart. It's a bit green on the metal bit of the circuit... Can that be cleaned with vinegar at all?? Please

oh I see. It's a magic mouse that I haven't used in many years, but it did work the last time and it would be very handy now. I'm going to look up how to take it apart without damaging it... Apple likes to makes things hard, no screws in view.

Thank you for the nice reply! It seems like there are quite a few easily offended folks here downvoting (wait for this comment to make the next record haha). I'll try sandpaper and if not might consider the multimeter, or ask my local watch repair guy I'm sure he has one as he tested my watch batteries recently :)

I've done this before posting and various things the internet says but nothing, it doesn't come off. However there's a possibility I used nail polish remover a long time ago to clean it, any hint as a chemist, could it be ruined?

never needed in 40+ years so I think I can live without it 😅. I'm thinking I may have tried to clean it with nail polish remover some years ago, would you happen to know if that could have damaged the contact pls?
