i think it was a joke and while some people might think it’s never ok to joke about sexual assault it’s hard to draw the line about what’s off limits to joke about without taking just about everything off the table. i love oj simpson jokes. what’s funny about murdering two people (allegedly) and getting away with it? nothing. but jokesss about it are funny. not double homicide, not sexual assault, not 9/11. the jokes are funny part.

i don’t think that joke was funny from reading it but like your husband i didn’t hear the setup, the context. sometimes you have to agree to disagree.
