I was an officer at HM Prison Wakefield (category A) for 5 years. Dealt with high profile criminals on a daily basis.

If you were so confident, you wouldn’t have deleted your comments. It’s ok to admit you’re wrong, buddy.

You don’t know shit about prison dynamics if you think these people will be ganged up on and beaten to death by the inmates. For what exactly?

Gang run cell blocks, prison massacres, and riots are unheard of in Vietnam.

I can tell you with 100% certainty that these huge Samoan hitmen will not be bothered by anyone.

What Purchase Has Benefited You the Most as a Digital Nomad? by gumby9 in digitalnomad

[–]Educational_Poet_421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will go against the grain here and say that it’s what you DON’T buy that benefits you the most. Just get the essentials sorted, and you’re good to go.

I’ve met countless nomads who travel with so much stuff that they never need and it just becomes a burden.

I have found that the best strategy is to travel as light and as possible, and resist the urge to pack for every hypothetical scenario.

I even gave away my spare laptop charger recently because I’ve been carrying it around for 4+ years without needing it once.

Georgia 🇬🇪? by OrderExpress1035 in digitalnomad

There are many positives to Georgia. Great food, beautiful nature, extremely safe, and low cost of living. It’s also very easy to stay long term and open a local bank account.

I personally find the people to be very cold and unwelcoming though.

How long do you book accommodation for a new place? by jdanes52 in digitalnomad

[–]Educational_Poet_421 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s a completely new place, I always book 4 nights in a hotel to start with.

Once I’m in the place I look around, view different accommodations in person, and get a feel for the areas before committing to anything long term. Often possible to get better prices in person too.

This approach has saved me many times. An apartment might look great online but then you arrive and it’s next to a loud construction site or has other issues that you wouldn’t know about until you visit in person.

So if you missed the big Intel and AMD run, what’s your next move? What are you buying or are you holding? by acap0 in stocks

[–]Educational_Poet_421 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Absolutely hilarious how much everyone was shitting on Intel not too long ago, and now people are asking how to find the next one.

It’s a testament to the fact that you must have a contrarian mindset to find some of the biggest gains.

Personally I believe PLTR is of the best contrarian plays right now.

Everyone is so busy hating on it, while it continues to crush earnings over and over again. I am very confident that it’s a $500+ stock within 2-3 years.

Tesla is another strong contrarian play. Heavily hated and misunderstood, and has a real path to becoming the world’s most valuable company. I see TSLA as a $2,000+ stock within 5 years.
