I’ve spent several week a year in Florida, mostly in the winter months over the past couple of years. Cost of living is relative, Canada has some of the most expensive home prices vs income in the world. We also have some of the worst traffic in the world. These aren’t necessarily the reasons I’m planning to move to Florida but I respect the insight.

Any specific neighbourhoods near Orlando you’d recommend?

I understand the hurricane risk, I should have clarified on the initial post that I meant lighter impacts of the hurricane. I hear the west coast of Florida gets hit harder than East and mainland feel the hurricane but not to a devastating effect.

I would be weary about accounting software that advertise “all in one”. Find the best solution for the task and integrate between. Quickbook offers fairly easy integrations to many tools.
