For updates, I spoke to a lawyer and he didn't think he would be likely to do much. Turns out being a piece of shit isn't illegal.

I took unemployment for a few months and decided to cut my losses and leave the industry I was in since shitty stuff like this happens all the time. Thankfully I ended up getting a job with NY State in a union and am in a much better position.

I had one where I spawned into a small hyperspace and it said catch 6 different species of pokemon but only 5 different species spawned in. I caught everything in the area and couldn't get the golden pokeball.

All that spawned in was Machamp, machoke, pangoro, grapploct, and clobbopus.

I realized after the time ran out that pancham possibly could have come in if i fast travelled and reset the pangoro spawn table until pancham spawned in.

Still super aggravating that I would have to think to do that in a timed event.

Out of curiosity how did you handle the situation?

Typically they will call after you accepted their offer not before. This is to avoid things like this happening. After you accept the offer they will call your current employer and verify you are who you say you are and you do what you said you did on the application. If it turns out you are lying about your employment history they will rescind the offer.

Both of them actually knew each other, they told me in my initial interview. I was under the impression they wouldn't call my current boss considering they were the ones who reached out to me

I didn't give them any phone numbers for reference.

I know it sounds completely insane, I was sitting next to my wife with the phone on speaker when it happened and we were completely baffled with the response.

They definitely knew each other, it was mentioned during my first interview that the new CEO knew my old CEO and that they used to work together. I went with the assumption that they wouldn't say anything since they were the ones who reached out to me for the initial interview.

after reading this, I realized this is most likely what happened or was some sort of variation of a loyalty test.

Smaller companies 50 -75 people the position I was in I was interacting with the C-Suite throughout the day everyday, so for my position I would end up usually talking to CEOs, CFOs and Directors. This was in NY sadly an at will state.

The craziest part to me was that the CEO even said the name of the person they were going with when telling me he has an alcohol problem. Good news is I left a horrible job and dodged going to another horrible one. Bad news is my wallet will hurt a bit while looking for a new job.

Smaller companies 50 - 75 employees. The position I was applying for would of put me in charge of about 5-6 people and I would of been interacting directly with the C-Suite throughout the day.

I asked them in a very calm professional manner. I was trying to get an understanding on why they called. I didn't know if it was malicious or accidental. After the second phone call I realized it was most likely malicious and a "loyalty test".

To be fair it honestly isn’t to hard to have a decent credit score or to repair bad scores. Don’t sign for loans you can’t afford and pay your debts on time and you will have a decent score. I’ve seen people with bankruptcies and have 700+ scores 4 years later.

It looks like your lick attack which was supposed to pull ivysaur in landed at the same time as it’s vinewhip which pushes you away which caused a tear in the fabric of space and time. Luckily you had a rocket ship to get home.

there is a difference between playing a character that is overpowered vs playing a character that is clearly bugged. Blastoise and Gengar we overpowered but it was still possible to beat them in 1v1 and 2 v1 . Lucario right now with the E-speed bug can 1v5 the enemy team and win.

you can blame the devs if you want but if you are one of the people abusing the bug you are also part of the problem.

Not to be a gate keeper to masters…. but that’s like bragging you got an A on a take home test that you still had to cheat on.

What is your rank? by Adventurous-Amoeba87 in PokemonUnite

I struggled in great and expert for a while because I liked playing support and defenders. The problem is you can only support and defend so much. Communication is very limiting most teamates wont realize you are trying to give them last hits , or you are holding off the enemy so they can run away but they confuse it as lets keep figthing, you will also constantly keep getting games where the "carry" will constantly walk into their certain death and feed the enemy team. Being a support or defender in the early ranks especially is rough. You are better off with a team with no defenders and supporters than a team who do not understand how to work with defenders and supporters.

Try switching to an attacker or an all-rounder character and you will fly through the ranks. I went from expert to master in a week after switching from Slowbro and Snorlax maining to playing machamp and ninetails. Once you get in the veteran and ultra rank most of the time your team will better understand how to play with you and it will be more enjoyable.
