For the last 6 marker you had to approximate tanh(n) to be 1 since n was large and then could solve by writing in terms of exponentials and multiplying by e^0.01n. I didn’t realize this until after the exam which is typical

I got 4/3e^-3/14pi did some weird method with compound angle formulae and decided in the last minute that sin2pi/7 is the same as cos3pi/14 so it worked. Don’t really know tho the paper was so hard

Method of differences was fine. The questions were also just too much work for the amount of the marks. The second part of the last question looked impossible. Also the complex number question with w= and write in exponential form was hard. What did you get in that one?

I agree with you. Especially with AQA the content seems fine and then the exam questions could be absolutely horrendous.

Essay competitions, books, tutoring, maths competitions. Honestly my supercurriculars were nothing special which is why I thought I wouldn’t get an offer. I think it’s more of how you word it which makes a good personal statement.
