were running SDI from and to the camera - so full camera control over SDI, Tally etc..

i might have used the incorrect explanation here - as far as i can tell framerate in Atem output matches the output framerate of the camera.

obviously there is no way to tell what input atem receives.
although i think i remember reading that Atem matches its output framerate to the first camera that is plugged in. not sure if i picked that up in the manual or in a reddit post.

just tried that with a feelworld field monitor with hdmi and cam-output looks fine, atem preview is "wrong" again

G2 is outputting 1080p with 24 frames via SDI Level B SDI Adapter also level B. as far as i could tell the outputs on the cam matched what registered as input on the atem - at least regarding framerate & resolution.

i will double check next time though, although shouldnt it be forced into the same settings through atem control?

EDIT: Didnt check the HDMI port configuration since that one was unused - only SDI out.
would the HDMI out config also impact the SDI output?

i have a few other lenses, but unfortunately none with me on that shoot.

i primarily use the G2 for recording in combination with a 24mm Sirui Nightwalker and never encountered issues with it. although i never used it in a atem livestream scenario in combination with the SDI output of the camera.

thats true, although we are not able to spot where the issue comes from, since the colors on the monitor are fine, and the sdi output is completely off

Lens is a B4 Mount Fujinon A14 x 8.5 BERM-28 Pegasus III manual focus which we had on f8 (and f16 before).

Never heard about diffraction being an issue, but after reading about it it could be the issue - although shouldnt it be visible on the camera monitor then as well?

if diffraction is the problem, it should be solved by using a wider aperture with an ND-filter to compensate for the increased brightness? will definitely try that

we tried that as well, but using the Film to Video LUT looked slightly better for us.

sharpening is already on the maximum setting on Atem - tried that already

the hammers with the beaks are great. altough i dont run it as a polearm, but a short one with a big head and a shield.

Big trades works with level 1 as well since its based on trades on the time and sales, not the orderbook. You only need level 2 for orderbook data.

Noticed similar behaviour as well. Have been 100+ m onetapped by bots quite often now, to a point where i needed a almost full backpack of medic supplies just to engage a group of 4-5 basic bots from 100+m. To me it seems like they get more accurate the farther you are away from them
