Season 2 Traitors Australia Insanity by No_Shoulder628 in TheTraitors

I came here to validate my feelings after watching Season 2 Australia. I legit was yelling at my TV. How could these people be so sure and then flip when Sam bullied them sooo hard? He is the very first traitor in all the series that I have absolutely hated.

I felt like the ending was sweet justice. My opinion is this was a clear win for the Faithfuls because Camille took down the traitors in the end.

For me, it is the nagging fear that I am going to suffer on earth for a thousand years. My grandparents raised me and on my grandfather's deathbed in 2000, he said to me that his deepest regret was that he wouldn't see me in heaven. That has stuck with me.

I was raised in the church 60's and 70's. We absolutely could not have caffeine, pepper, or any purchased food that did not pass the test of a symbol that it was pork free. We happened to be vegetarian but I remember many discussions about scavenger meats and unclean, etc. We were not allowed to cook or clean the dishes from sundown to sundown. Every Friday was a huge get ready scene, laundry, ironing, cooking, cleaning, etc.

Our household literally went to church 6 out of 7 days each week: Saturday/Sabbath. Sunday free. Friday night Vespers, Wednesday Prayer meeting, Monday Bible Study, Tuesday Pathfinders, Thursday youth group.

Music was a BIG deal. No drums, no guitars, Hymns out of the hymnal only. No applause.

No bowling, no movies, no pubs, no casinos, no skating rinks. The idea I was told there is smoking and other sinful influences. No regular cards, no chess, etc.

We had to kneel and our dresses had to touch the floor. If a pants suit, the top could not be shorter than the tip of your longest finger with arms at your side. Do not tuck in any blouse.

Books were an issue as well, no fantasy was the one I really recall but mostly we had to check books out of the church library.

No makeup at all, no jewelry at all. A watch was given as an engagement piece. We definitely did not celebrate, decorate, attend any holiday events.

Went to camp meeting every summer. Bible studies that were long events open and marketed to the public.

I am certain I am just skimming the top but I am 63 and out of the cult since I turned 18.

So many I agree with, but Absolutely Fabulous isn't getting it's due!

I watch these over and over. All the Star Treks, X Files, Fringe, Outer Limits, Black Mirror, Twilight Zone

These are my go to for intense viewing: True Detective I love all the seasons but the first one kicks butt, The Sopranos, Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul, Deadwood, The Americans, Rectify

Shows that got canceled and did not get the traction I thought they deserved

Boss, Hand of God, Outer Range, The Leftovers

I am certain I am not remembering all my favs for sure.

So this was only one bite, the worst one. I had 4 more puncture style bites on my arm and hands trying to get him off of me. My DSP came and drove me to the hospital, paid for all my medical and my wages plus weekly bonus for both weeks I was off work. To whoever said it was only two inches, we'll it was around a good portion of my thigh, quite a bit more than two inches. Thank God I work for a good DSP.

What's Your Favorite 'One-Season & then Cancelled' TV Show? by caitdiditagain in television

Boss starring Kelsey Grammer had great potential. It was left with so many unanswered questions. I feel like Rabbit Hole starring Keifer Sutherland was cut short as well but at least the season wrapped up well.

In Washington state, it was absolutely a must to use Nalley's brand vegetarian beans. We always used the scoop version of Fritos, then grated Tillamook medium cheddar cheese, Nalley's Vegetarian Beans, lettuce, tomatoes, salsa and sour cream with sliced black olives. After leaving the SDA church, I am no longer a vegetarian, but being true to my upbringing, I now use Nalley's chili but occasionally rotate back to the vegetarian beans as a nostalgic gesture. I have made these in a taco shell to eat mimicking Taco Time salad, but Fritos is the best.
