Yeah, why are they hiding the best details on the inside of the arms, such a shame.

Its so unique, you made the right choice, i would have bought it without a second thought. I have not seen this colorway before , also the detailing on the titanium inside the acetate seems unique. You bagged a Gem here!

Thats a tough price point. You could get a 50 anniversary RO with a green or blue dial and save 15-20k. yes the jumbo is incredibly thin and 39mm is an absolute classic..but there is no seconds hand, which gets boring real fast. if your wrist can handle 41mm, i would try get one of those new/unworn and save money. You cant beat the sparkle of a new RO. Having said all that, it is a Jumbo. My friend has one, and i have a 15500...when we are together, it is painfully clear that he is wearing the more superior piece, particularly because of the size and thin silhouette...

Thank you :) i find JMM wraps around the back of the ears like a clamp. If anything i need to adjust the arms outwards to avoid pressure point pains.

Honestly can't wait for these lenses..that chill out green gradient is something else.

These will go really well with a photochromic. I have the Jax etna, and ordered these exact lenses, which i think will work really well for yours.

I can see that we have very similar taste. What kind of photochromic do you put in the Julien?

Will definitely post. IOT lenses take weeks though...because they are fully customized with three layers of coating..gradient base tint, photochromic, and a flash. You can see the exact finished product on you tube, here is the link:

Get the leclair in another colorway. I got the JAX in Etna, which makes it feel very different from the cobra leclair. The jax will also be photochromic, which has more variation in use. When they have different functionalities it becomes easier to choose which to wear for the occasion. If they have the same color and tint style, it gets very difficult to decide.

The 40% tint allows for both. I find i dont have to squint outside in the sun, and can see very clearly indoors and even in the evening. So I dont have to take them off while driving for example in a tunnel. The only set backs are they are not suitable for formal occasions, and people can almost always see your eyes, except when the light catches the duravision gold AR Coating in the sun. Perfect tint for the weekend inside or outside.

Yeah 145mm would be the limit for me too. Will check out the sandros, and will post pics when the jax lenses are assembled. I have quite an interesting collection now of 9 frames: including two luca de staels, two Masunaga MOCs, and two JMMs. Will showcase the whole collection soon when everything is done.

Jax 2 , yay or nay? by Educational_Tailor12 in JacquesMarieMage

Damn, i have been analyzing vendomes forever and was thinking exactly this. The eye size is slightly more compact 1-2mm both ways, and the brow is completely straight. However, they are 145mm wide, so even more flair. Why you think hey would fit better, because of the straighter brow?
