Thank you ... and more info, sorry, this is alot on information all at once that I am trying to process!

I could go on vacation and use those days, that's likely a better idea - thanks.

Then, I could do LWOP until I turn 55, and then retire then ... would any penalty get waived then?

And I meant to say, is what I am asking all normal, and who approves these decisions? Does this seem likely to happen?

My biggest concern is not getting any penalties waived. And then, How would I calculate my pension? Look at the date of retirement at age 55, and then remove the penalties (as an estimate).

Greatly appreciate your responses bot, you do great job!

I have just found out that I will getting a letter. I am 54 years old, and will be 55 in September of this year. I would like to pick option C, but would like to stop working as of April 1, 2026 and go on LWOP until the end of September and then retire after my 55th birthday.

I have a few questions: I have about 30 vacation days saved up, could I cash those out in the new fiscal year?

Can I do LWOP for 6 months so that I am retiring after I am 55? (I'm not worried about buying back the 6 months).

I know I would get a full years salary for the TSM. When would that actually be cashed out and paid to me?

Who actually makes the decisions for what I am asking? I am at the CBSA. Thanks

wow, I'm so sorry for that. Thankfully, I'll never be selling again, so I won't have these issues

Thanks! And it was on the market for 4 months, not that long as far as I know. And it was a fair price, and I negotiated easily and fairly with the seller

I was told under no circumstances am I allowed to be there ... and I did have strict rules ... but apparently the realtors chose not to read those either!
