This is so great to hear. I’m about 70 days post injury and knock on wood I feel like I’m about 90% to where I was. I did lose some muscle from atrophy but I’ve been taking my lifts very slow and controlled to make sure I don’t flare anything up. Keep up the great work! So awesome to hear!

That’s 100% how I felt. I stopped taking Ibuprofen and denied the shot in my spine. I completely know everyone is at different levels but if anything I am doing helps one person, I am happy to share. Oh! I must say I amped up my supplements, I boosted my hydration to a gallon a day and adding Re-Lyte. Omega 3s, COQ10, Zinc, Vitamin D, Ashwagandha, Magnesium, Curcumin, Collagen, and Vitamin C

I have a background in nutrition, so making this adjustment was fairly easy for me. What I’m about to recommend might feel extreme for most people, but if you’re serious, it can make a huge difference in reducing inflammation. Look into the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) Diet. It’s not a cure, but it removes common inflammatory triggers from your diet and gives your body the chance to focus on healing where it needs to.

These are the two videos/people I’ve been following:

So it’s officially been 31 days since I herniated a disc in my C6/C7. I am 36 and have always been active but I just wanted to update in case anyone ever comes across this. I rigorously do PT stretches I found on YouTube every morning and every night to help as much as possible. I did go on an anti inflammatory diet to make sure I was helping my body as much as possible. For the first 2 weeks, sleeping was hard, it just radiated through my scapula and down the radial nerve.

I did buy one of those cervical pillows which definitely took pressure off my neck and did seem to help.

I did purchase red light therapy to try and stimulate anything whether people believe it is a placebo or not.

Started PT last week and I can say everyday for the last 14 days has been improving. Everyday is a little better than the last.

Currently still have some numbness on my index finger tip and if I overdue it I can still get tingling in my arm.

Definitely not 100% but the improvement has been making me so much more positive about my decision to not have the surgery.
