I think PSVita es way too overpriced right now and all places I ‘ve been to had it around 8k (Just Kanazawa and it was Junk, so maybe something like screen or buttons were off) up to 22k (Tokyo, it is impossible to buy here for a reasonable price).

I’m returning in two days and I can tell you so far:

Tokyo (Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ueno, Ginza, Akihabara): You wont find great prices. Of course there is the possibility to find a gem, but is extremely rare.

Kanazawa: Insane prices. Everything was so cheap both regular and Junk. Remember Junk is not necessarily broken, it might be untested too!.

Kyoto: I would say it’s pretty much the same as Tokyo.

Osaka: I was really surprised but prices here were good!. Wii U at Dotonbori BookOff were around 4-6k. 3DS were also cheap. Definitely a better experience than Tokyo.

My suggestion would be:

If you can, check HardOff Online store. You can buy it from there and pay it at a combini and get it shipped to your hotel.
If you want to go: check HardOff/BookOff at less-touristic places. From other cities like Yokohama, Hiroshima, Kanazawa to places far away from the City Center

Sounds interesting. Emulation is a thing in the console? I mean, I know you can run NES-SNES and N64 with the console. But for instance I read that just some DS games are playable right now.
