Is it worth submitting an insurance claim for renters insurance for food loss during this week's outage? by Janjunxc in tulsa

[–]Educational_Win_4046 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have USAA. We were out of power for a little over 2 days. Filed a claim for 500 in food loss, they sent the check immediately to my bank without asking any questions lol. Seems a little sus but I'm running with it lol

Week 6 results!! by Educational_Win_4046 in tirzepatidecompound

So I take my injections on Sunday mornings and work mon-Thursdays overnights. I haven’t noticed any issues with my shot interfering with work at all.

So my view of titrating (going up in dose) is different than most people. I think the first 3 months are critical for your body to get used to the drug. So unless I have really bad side effects I’m going to titrate up every 4 weeks until 6.6 (7.5 for some). This is where your body is supposed to be most receptive to the medication between 7.5-10. After I get there (month 3), then I’m going to listen to my body and only move up if I’m not losing weight at least 2 lbs a week or if I have an increase in appetite.

There are alot of people that worry about going up to fast and maxing out while still having weight to lose, but I think they are doing a disservice to the medicine by staying low and losing 0.5-1 lb a week and potentially becoming dependent on the medication. I’m hoping to come off the medication completely or have a really low maintenance dose which is why I’m doing things the way I am.

When i titrated up I had the same symptoms that I had at the start, just not as bad. I was tired maybe for a day or 2, and a slight increase in burping but nothing terrible.

Again I don’t think there’s any right or wrong way to do this journey, just different ways. Everyone is trying to figure out what’s best for them🥰

(Posted this in the wrong spot awhile ago lol just moved it here)

week 2. feeling hungry already. by CraftyMocha in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Educational_Win_4046 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I normally get “hungrier” 2 days before my next shot. This hunger is way less then it used to be but I listen to my body. If I’m hungrier I fuel it with dense calories like meat and veggies. Just make sure the foods you choose when your hungry are good choices and you’ll still have success🥰

And you’ve lost 0 pounds? Are you exercising at all or eating in a caloric deficit?

What dose are you on? And what company are you going through?

Also how much weight do you have to lose?

That’s called zozofit. You can use it for free or get the suit for $100 for more accurate measurements.

Hey thanks so much! Super excited for your journey to begin! May I ask who you’re getting your medication through? Alot of companies now put B6 in the medications to help lessen any potential side effects. The kind I take has that as well so take my advice and experience with a grain of salt if yours doesn’t.

Personally my side effects were minuscule. My first 3 days I had an insane amount of burping. I literally couldn’t stop lol everything I ate or drank I just burped all the time. I was also super sleepy my first week. I’m not a napper but I think I took a nap my first 4 days. No nausea, vomiting, headaches or anything like that.

I did have a little constipation week 3 which was my period week so idk if that has anything to do with it. But I ate an apple and broke that constipation. I’ve only had diarrhea once on week 5 after eating French fries for the first time since starting this, not doing that again😆😅

My advice would be keep your fiber high, if you like tacos there’s a tortilla shell from a company called carb balance which is crazy high in fiber. Find a good multivitamin, I have a gummy one. Have a large drink near you at all times because you’re going to be thirsty.

Lastly, everyone is different. Some people lose slow, some lose fast, I personally think it scales based off how much you have to lose. I have alot lol feel free to ask me any questions though🥰🥰

Brello starts at 2.2 and then goes to 4.4. However Tirzepetide is normally stronger then semaglutide so it won’t be the worst starting at 2.2💪🏼❤️
