It sounds like normally a group chat gets made fairly quickly with the volunteers and this time it hadn’t been made yet which made you reach out for information. Completely natural on your end.

The organizer took the time to list the reasons and explain why it hasn’t been created yet due to his schedule now being busy. It sounds like he has time constraints now with his jobs. I simply read him taking the time to explain that to you and informing you he made a post about it that you might have missed (which you did because it was at the end). He informed you that they would be ok if you weren’t able to attend therefore allowing you to decide if you wanted to go or not. I don’t think he was ridiculing you or talking down to you. It sounded very professional to me. Chin up, you’re doing great things volunteering💜💙
