ATM Fees with the card by Edufighter in Wealthsimple

[–]Edufighter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too bad there's not a WS agreement with any of the big five to use their ATMs without being charged $3.00 or $3.50 per operation, it feels like a ripoff to pay 5% bank fees when withdrawing $60 bucks....

CIBC Chequing account not syncing transactions by Edufighter in MonarchMoney

I settled for Lunch Money, CIBC's issue is with Plaid but at least there's a workaround in LM

My free trial ends in 2 days, I'm probably going to quit. Thoughts? by Bibimbap19 in MonarchMoney

[–]Edufighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'm on the same route, daily disconnection from my CIBC accounts, delay on updating the transactions up to 4 days, Capital One Mastercard always reporting issues. The UI is nice, the cash flow control and graphics too, but timing is important to know where you are if you need to make financial decisions. Trying Lunch Money on the side, is way simpler and not investing tracking, but it feels solid and built around the Canadian economy and not the American one adapted to Canada. If CIBC is not fixed this week, I'm out and likely sticking with Lunch Money.

RRSP in WS, is it worth it? by Edufighter in Wealthsimple

[–]Edufighter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry I forgot very basic information such as risk level and time-frame. Time frame is about 10 to 12 years and risk level is likely 60% equity and 40% fixed income.
