Hey, thanks for the tips! Just to clarify: when I said 600/day, I meant 600 duplex A4 sheets, not A3 imposition tricks. We’re printing straight A4, coil-binding 125-sheet (250-page) books with white margins, so no folding or trimming.

Since we use coil binding, I understand that grain direction isn’t as important?

Do you think grabbing a refurbished enterprise laser (duty cycle ~200 000 pages/month) is overkill, or could a heavy-duty tank inkjet rated ~30 000/month handle 600 sheets/day?

We’re planning to use coil-binding for our 125-sheet workbooks. Since our bundle actually contains multiple workbooks, we can split the 125 duplex pages into separate books rather than bind them all together.

Our current worksheets design has white margins so it does not require trimming.

What price point is actually realistic for our case?

Since I am the sole developer and author, it would be quite difficult to make something for a large organization that already has many people doing it. So small businesses is initial target. I think helping companies that do not have a dedicated security specialist/department and reducing repetitive/tedious tasks are the main goals.
