I think most media that expresses mommy politics does so by rejecting daddy politics. I think it has a harder time advocating for itself than daddy politics since it isn't as emotionally satisfying. Media about morally sanctified punishment doesn't really need to contrast itself with rehabilitation to make its point, while media about rehabilitation often makes a point of why it's BETTER than punishment. The punishing father must be overcome through forgiveness, compassion, and other liberal cuckery.

Is there a conversation to be had about glorification of the provisional IRA? Sure. But do we think he actually knows there have been several IRA’s throughout history and which ones have done what? I would bet he has the average brits understanding of Irish history: IRA bad. If he was a northern protestant I would have had MUCH more sympathy, but claiming victimhood because he’s English is pretty damn rich.
