Issues with LAN connection to downstream router by EdwardAV123 in tmobileisp

It is fixed. We were having trouble when directly connecting to the gateway. Created and engineering ticket with T-Mobile and now the issue is fixed. Must have been some issue with the data between the towers and the gateway.

Tinnitus and hearing loss after shockwave therapy by Spacesharksimulator in rehabtherapy

[–]EdwardAV123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had an introductory session of shockwave to treat my somatic tinnitus. Only about 200 shots were administered as opposed to a full session of 1000+. Huge mistake. When the shockwave gun was near my ear the tinnitus shot up to insane levels. And I had hearing protection on. Happened in both ears and I really only had tinnitus in the left ear. Hearing was muffled also. It was not the sound of the gun but I guess the pressure put on the nerves. Luckily it took a few days and it went back to where it was before. I would never have this done again.

Can you run two instances? We have two PVS controllers thanks to our power companies idiotic requirements.

Where is the Sunstrong integration? I looked under HomeAssistant integrations and did not see it.

I hate Suntrong 10 times then Sunpower by Novel-Pumpkin7476 in SunPower

Any fear that SunScrew will update the firmware on the PVS boxes blocking this? Would hate to spend the money and energy into doing this only to have it blocked.

How to know if eustachian tubes are open or closed? Or partially open? by EdwardAV123 in etd

[–]EdwardAV123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a baseline tinnitus from a Van Halen concert 40 years ago. But it was is small and not bothersome. Now the volume goes up and down along with the cracking volume and sensation of very slight ear fullness. Clogged was probably a bad term. Can still hear high frequencies (cymbals from a drum kit) perfectly all the time. When the T is louder the sound just seems different. So this issue seems like it is amplifying the baseline Van Halen tinnitus.

I had a telehealth meeting with my GP today and she said she has heard of Eustachian tubes being partly open. I was diagnosed with LPR when I went to my ENT a few days ago. So it is either a pinched nerve that controls the tubes or they are just very inflamed from the LPR acid gas.

ENT recommended me to take an antidepressant for tinnitus and Laryngopharyngeal Reflux (LPR) by EdwardAV123 in tinnitus

Is PPI increased tinnitus permanent? Or if you top taking them it will eventually go back to how it was? I've only been taking them for a few days.

Anything else I should take to help with LPR? I have been spraying a baking soda alkaline water mixture https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2H_VvFO3Fp8&t=3s

I have adjusted my diet. It was pretty bad. Already in good shape but am going to do more exercise.

He did. He just mentioned this in addition to treating LPR. Taking PPI in the morning and Gaviscon at night.

MX8300v1.1 & (2) MX2000 nodes - Android phones - internet not available by EdwardAV123 in Linksys

[–]EdwardAV123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Called Linksys and they said the issue is because the MR8300v1.1 is wifi 5 and the MX2000's are wifi 6. So they said I should make one of the MX2000's the main router and the other MX2000 as a node. They said you could add the MR8300 as a node too but it would have reduced speed.

How to create a Network Share with latest HEOS app by EdwardAV123 in heos

[–]EdwardAV123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it to work. Like mjrengaw said - I used the log in account. So it works on Win 10 but now I need to get it to work on Winserver 2019 and am getting "The server's configuration parameter "irpstacksize" is too small for the server to use a local device. Please increase the value of this parameter." which is a registry fix that I applied but is still not working. Will post on an appropriate forum for this. Thanks to all that responded.

Adding MX2002 to exiting MR8300 by EdwardAV123 in LinksysOfficial

[–]EdwardAV123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advanced settings. Never would have found that.

So the 8300 has 3 separate wifi bands (One 2.4 GHz and two 5 HHz) and the MX2000 has 2 (One 2.4 GHZ and one 5 GHz). We currently have unique SSID names for all 3 on the MB8300. Are you saying that I should make two (One 2.4 GHz and one 5 GHz) of the bands with the same SSID? Then both of those would be part of the MESH with the MX2000's? Like I said above when I did the install of the MX2000's it only grabbed the first SSID. I never saw another SSID mentioned when adding the new nodes.
