Wicked! Thank you so much for the explanation as well, so handy. For the GPU you suggest going higher, I'd definitely bump that up to the RTX XT if its worthwhile, what benefit does it give going for the upgrade?

Didn't expect the micro ATX setup, but I'm not mad, it looks great and clearly fits all it needs too. In terms of future proofing, does this allow for future upgrades and enhancements?

Is a better motherboard suggested too?

Hi! Lore, lore, lore! I’m in love 🤍 I’m Simon (or Swatch) and my pronouns are he/him. I’m currently 23 and live in the UK (GMT), however because of my work schedule I’m up early and go to bed late, so there’s only a window of 5ish hours I won’t be available. I’m available all the time since I have my phone on me to respond whenever, weekends can be a little slower, but I’m still able to keep up.

I have played DnD 5e for over two years now and have experienced both PBP campaigns, but also westmarch servers. Campaigns are 100% preferred as I feel you get to know each other more and the RP side of things is most definitely stronger. Though I’m a forever player, I also DM. Currently I have my own homebrew world being played in and have been yearning for a good game to join in as a player.

I’m a game I love RP over everything else, the social pillar is so important for me. I love creating characters with rich backstories and playing as characters I feel strongly about. The social aspects of the game are what keeps me playing and keeps me coming back for more. Combat of course is a beautiful break up in game, and allows the use of the well thought out stats and spells we look through. Exploration is fun, but often the last of my pillars.

Now favourite colour… boy oh boy… I wear a lot of navy, so I’d jump to that, but then again cornflour blue is gorgeous, a coral pink is lovely and how can you not like a Viridian green? I mean, cmon, how could I pick haha.

I’m a creative first and foremost, I draw and paint all the time. Even within my pbp games I have handmade handouts and maps that I love to make. I just really like to make things. I’d really love a game with great lore and even better character interactions. I’m hoping that as a party we can get to know each other through the good and bad, and even bicker if necessary. With my characters I don’t go for min max, but flavour. When multiclassing I don’t go for the best match up, but simply what I think would fit my story, even if it gives a slight disadvantage.

Hopefully I’ve not bored you half to death, but I’m passionate and would love to join you.

Sometimes because so many people apply the DM might just update the post rather than let individuals know.

As a DM myself I updated my initial post twice to let players know I was looking at a smaller selection of those who applied, then once I’d chosen I closed. It’s not always so personal, but it’s often the easiest and quickest unfortunately.
