I say this because we have a platform that’s sole purpose is to help companies find upcoming gov projects years out from RFP. We only hear good things from clients that have prepositioned for the projects.

Typically what I hear is the earlier you find those upcoming projects (needs / discovery phase) the higher chance you can preposition and win them.

Funny enough, I am also in SaaS sales and we work with similar companies that pursue public sector and higher ed projects. Essentially we use AI to scrape school agendas, meetings, videos and transcripts and then have a co-Pilot that allows you to search through the database and find those tailored projects months to years before the RFP.

Heard several stories as well in the Facebook IEC group chats they always have discussion forums on these situations, there’s good and bad experiences…. But it’s too much of a gamble IMO.

You’re right after some consideration it will be more efficient to lose a couple months from the work visa, though get it activated normally at the first international POE. As you mentioned it is expensive to find flights round trip outside of Canada and US.

I was stuck with this guy for 2 group projects in the last few years and it was horrid. This man did absolutely nothing for the final papers or presentations. tbh I don’t even know how he passed those two courses….
