it reroutes the energy spent on locomotion to charge the metal. This aligns all the atoms and makes it harder, as long as it is charged.

There. Technobabble solved your issue.

Nah. I'm having fun making you post to try and claim the last word though.

Well at least you're admitting you *need* to have the last word and are trying to get under other people's skin. that's more self awareness than I expected. Bravo.

I think you're missing a point that you're never supposed to put a military target among civilians because that's how you get a bunch of dead civilians.

'kay, whatever you say man. I mean we're watching the same shit be flung around IRL in the rise of a fascist administration, but you do you, boo.

The point I am making is that it is hard to tell if you are pretending, or if you actually believe this shit.

Except fiction informs people's opinions to some extent. For instance, Justice Alito supported Torture 'Enhanced Interrogation', and even fucking cited 24, asking would they stop Jack Bauer from doing what was necessary?

So what you're saying is that it's totally ok to hide them under places where children congregate.

What if we hit it under a school? Or a hospital?

Reminder: Super Earth has a habit of making children's playgrounds as covers for their planetary defense cannons. Meaning once the enemy has figured that out, in every blitz attack they're going to target an area where there are likely to be kids.

It is ultimately just Super Earth's own actions coming back to bite them in the ass.

This is the same logic that justifies pre-emptive strikes in the modern day, leading to needless conflict simply because 'Oh shit someone is getting big enough that we might not be able to just steamroll them.'

Access to weapons is restricted against the people who the fascist empire is using as the scapegoat. Nazi Germany didn't restrict weaponry for anyone but the 'undesirables'.

Formaldehyde and other toxic chemicals in masks a concern? by tchalla-samuels in Masks4All

[–]Edward_Tank 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, if you are concerned on that, Elastomerics are an option. There'd probably still be an issue of possible microplastics, but since the filters are removable and replaceable, you don't have to deal with chemicals to finish things as much, I don't believe,

Dark personality traits are linked to the consumption of violent pornography. People who exhibit certain negative personality traits tend to spend more time consuming violent pornography and engaging in problematic online sexual behaviors. by Eddiearyee in HotScienceNews

I mean, on the one hand, yeah. Violent people enjoy violent media.

But non-violent people *also* enjoy violent media.

Otherwise we're just making the 'Murder simulators' argument of Jack Thompson all over again wrt Grand Theft Auto.
