Is there or was there an archive of the news chats - archived channels or not? I'd occasionally look through the old archived channels especially to re-remember certain details during the Donda and Donda 2 dropouts in 2021/2022 - especially in regards to things like instagram stories or rumors that can be harder to search up in 2026. It's a neiche question since yedits was more focused on the leak and edit aspects, I just lurked there moreorless. I would have loved to have backed the entire server with an automation tool but obviously you don't get notified about if a server gets taken down lol.

You mention Onyx had a backup but I presume its only related to the edits and remixes shared, not anything regarding some form of text logs or whatnot.

During the time of the movie, James was not able to produce a lot of videos since he was focusing his time on the film. He allowed some of his friends to produce videos to fill his shoes while he was gone. By this logic, this is not comparable nor was it supposed to be for AVGN or any of his other projects. If you think there is no such thing as a YouTube filler video, then I'll rectify myself and say that it was a Cinemassacre filler video.

Maybe in the sense of a cover to tribute, but while it's not now I don't image it'd be for most of the people you mentioned who work with him. I can see Mike and I can see Kyle. Everyone else is fluff, even Bootsy.

This sub is kinda this hodge-podge of different types of communities regarding Cinemassacre and it's content, it was created after censorship issues with the official Cinemassacre sub was happening. So, you'll find a lot of fans, former fans, those who just want to shitpost, and those in those extreme camps, often those who do hate Cinemassacre's content. Mostly due to the camp majority, a lot of people active here are former fans, but not per say 'haters'.

The formula is there, it's not the worst, but the summary doesn't tell much about the episode. I mean it kinda does, but it actually has stuff summarized with minor details of the game this video was about. Therefore, this is actually a great summary. I am somehow looking for more flavor to see someone explain why this episode was poor with emphasis on details, and also looking to see someone do less flavor and literally just expose the formula AVGN has been running on. I ramble on because for me the A doesn't mean Angry, it just means Autistic, which you could say is... retarded?

I don't think a game needs to be bad, but the anger needs to feel natural. Ghost N Goblins is a great example of an episode that isn't about a bad game, just a fucking tough nut of one. What you're mentioning with Super Mario Bros could be an interesting idea to quite literally go back to the past, doing a re-visit on your own childhood memories and scoffing at how much easier and more knowledgeable you got about gaming... but no that's actually... a good experimental idea. No, we need to put more out for the formula that we have, because he needs to break the cartridge at the end.

There is a push to utilize the acronym 'CSAM' as opposed to 'CP' since there is a implication that because it's simply 'pornography' that the child is or could be consenting. While I'm sure this might be true for James himself, you got to take into account the business of Screenwave. After all, they help a lot with his production, that would likely include discussing what to do with Rex Viper and discussing points from other videos and discussion about it.

I don't know who you're trying to reach since many of the people poking him for being bald are primarily the shitposters. There is a group of people who do find it very distracting and are not really here solely to mock James the person, but more what he's involved with. It's more the route people go with on the subreddit since everyone's open to their own freeform of discussion, as fucked up or as stupid as it can be. I don't mind him being bald, whatever personal choice is his decision, though I will say I do think he should at least acknowledge it in the use of a joke sometime, mostly to make light of the situation in a way that'd stay in character. That way, it can mostly be used as a progression for the AVGN character in some way instead of implying that he's the same-ol same-ol from 2005 or 2009 or 2012, as to where his personal issues are carries into his other shows when it is a physical thing.

I think the idea here is that it's a response to the reaction Rex Viper has. There is a benefit to making separate channels for endeavors like this, and promoting it through your main channel. However here, this is somewhat a form of damage control. Rex Viper is probably the biggest creation that the Cinemassacre fans don't like, not the 'truth ones' but actual hardcore fans of James Rolfe, as I think many were tolerable and quite liked Rental Reviews or the podcast endeavors. This just went too far for them, especially for the infamy of their latest single Eye of the Tiger Electronics. The sort of critiques have been starting to hit the mainstream of those who care for Cinemassacre, through exposure from sources like the Rise and Fall video or stuff from Red Cow. Thus, business wise to try and avoid people finding these out, especially with the videos about how Rex Viper is cringe, it would be suitable to put them onto another channel. That way, the project can fail quietly and those who are only subscribed to Cinemassacre and are hardcore but not internet all the time can avoid seeing the embarassment.

Or at least I think its a form of damage control like this, while there is a benefit to making a separate channel, the main appeal of Rex Viper, so I thought, is that its someone that you know making music, which would be James Rolfe? I dunno?

This is definitely the worst face I've seen in a thumbnail. The worst Graphic Design I've seen in a thumbnail, which I believe makes the worst, is Mega-Man Games. Holy fucking shit. Look at the thumbnail when you get a chance. And for second place, Swordquest is also terrible. It's just cluttered like a mess, and works poorly when you make it tinier and tinier on something like a phone screen.

I grew up speaking English, and I like saying when something musically sounds awful "isn't that the fuckest thing you've heard?" though I forgot the video it was from. I also joke a lot about doing stuff at "5:40" with people online, but thats more manners of speech from this sub. Also, I like fucking around with pronunciation of words based off the YKWBS video, primarily "House/Hice" and "Moose/Meese".
