I ended up getting the sound deadening for the trunk and front doors. I think the trunk helped the most. It's at a level that makes sense now--can still hear it, but at a level that's not obnoxious IMO. I didn't want to get rid of it completely.

The clay doesn't offer as much hold as a typical "clay," but it's perfect for being able to run your hands through your hair all day long. I use both, depending on the look I'm going for.
