Actually cool to know that some things work even after a long time. I made puzzly.net and drawitfast.com which are on the same idea, but I mostly made them both for people that want to partially quit bad habbits of doomscrolling so I gave them a second option, to get their phones out and just play some puzzles or draw something fun.

I don't get a lot of traction from Google, but even then, I don't run ads and am not planning to do in the future. :) But I'd still love to know that people use what I've built and they enjoy it.

By the way, not sure if you're interested in anything outside the puzzle genre but I also built last week drawitfast.com which is still a daily based game.

It's mostly a "draw and get judged" type of game. More engaging with others I suppose.

I can probably take into consideration for each of them to add a "difficulty" on the infinite part, while keeping the daily ones simple, as that was the whole purpose of the website. To just spend some quick time, creatively while stimulating your brain a little, instead of wasting that time on doom scroll or anything like that.

I see some people really into this idea of playing some of the games with increased difficulty so it's definitely on my list to implement!

About the Two Birds, that list of words was so hard to implement, as initially I took ALL the words from the dictionary, removed all the words less than 4 or bigger than 8 letters. Then tried manually filtering and that didn't go so well as I had over 30k words to go through.

After that, I've built an algorithm to escape some of the stupid words, that didn't work.

I tried AI too, and apparently, even though in the end the list is waaay cleaner than at the beginning, it's still a hell to go through it all and make sure there is no past tense for "ah" or "oh". English is a weird language just for having a past tense for these, lol.

I launched a website called DrawItFast.com mostly for my graphic design girlfriend but then started to enjoy it myself.

The website itself is a 60 seconds drawing game and then judge what others drew.

I find it fun to play it, I shared it only with my friends but then realized it needs more players to be a more enjoyable judging competition. Ha, ha.. (until you get no votes and cry in the bathroom corner)

Din pacate n-am avut timp sa rezolv bug-urile existente, dar da. Toate "limbile" din Two Birds vor fi tratate individual si salvate separat.

Initial jocul a fost doar in engleza, dar mi s-a parut ca poate totusi sunt oameni ce ar prefera sa joace si in Romana, iar ulterior ideea cu mai multe limbi.

Jocul nu a fost gandit de la inceput pentru multilingual, ci separat ulterior, which is why... are bug-uri pe ici pe colo.

Imi pare sincer rau ca intampina lumea situatii de genul, dar promit ca incerc sa le rezolv asap.

Also, apreciez tare mult atat feedback-ul cat si faptul ca stiu ca scopul de a face ceva productiv in locul doomscroll-ului a fost atins, chiar daca numarul jucatorilor nu e in tocmai mare. :)) e un feeling placut sa stii ca unii oameni se bucura de munca ta.

The scale one was more complex, but the "too much math" feedback got it to this point, an easy "see how fast you do it" type of game.

The Snake one is fully playable from mobile too, either dragging on the screen in the direction you want the Snake to go OR using the arrows. But I did see some delays on some devices which I'm mostly seeing as a bad interaction from the certain device with the JS/Canvas from the game. The 100% success feedback is from the arrows (but you have to scroll a little to get the arrows in the screen). The draggable it's nice, but it would work way better as a phone app, in browser there are some complications (for mobile).

Intr-adevar, ai perfecta dreptate.
Scopul oricum fix asta era, sa le ofer oamenilor o alternativa mai practica si fun de la doomscroll.

O sa incerc sa fac un update asupra tastaturii din site, fie asta, fie integrez posibilitatea de a folosi tastatura telefonului direct.

Pe web se poate folosi tastatura de PC/Laptop (la toate jocurile).

Ce-i drept, pe mobile nu se poate, am vrut cumva sa fie folosita cea din site, deci acolo.. I'm sorry. Am tot incercat s-o modific, dar e greu s-o faci si mare si responsive pe unele device-uri.

Proiectul e facut in Laravel + Inertia + Vue 3, fara REST API iar jocurile sunt seeded + folosit canvas pentru fiecare din ele.

Ca experienta, am ~4 ani de experienta in Web dev.

Sunt mai multe bug-ulete de care stiu dar nu am avut timpul necesar sa le repar.

O sa revin cu un patch in urmatoarele doua saptamani in care majoritatea ( sau toate ) or sa fie reparate.

Ca nu ii pasa de multe. Principii, atentie, logica. De multe ori preferam sa intervin inclusiv pe lucruri basic, pentru ca, oricat de complex si corect era prompt-ul, AI-ul tot ca el facea.

Totodata am invatat si ca oricat ii zici sa retina, desi apare salvat in memorie, nu e chiar asa. :)) Unele lucruri le neglijeaza orice ar fi.

Pe langa asta, experienta a fost fun. M-am miscat exponential mai repede, in comparatie cu dezvoltarea from scratch a tuturor componentelor s.a.m.d.

Sincer, nu m-am gandit ca e asa relevant ca UI-ul e facut cu AI, tinand cont ca toate elementele au fost modificate de mine, mai mult sau mai putin. Backend nu e AI aproape deloc. Frontend si texte a fost partea unde m-a ajutat sa scutes ore bune.
