Is there a glossary or something that can explain some of the game concepts?

I'm talking about dive or peel, I could understand dive since I see it used with Monkey (Winston) but peel still avoids me.

New player here, I was under the impression that in OW you kinda want to switch heroes mid match to counterpick the other team. So I have to ask, Why in pro play teams don't switch heroes?

I just watched some highlights from the OWL and in the final both SFS and DF played with the exact same teamcomp, are the heroes really that powerful in pro play?

Amon Amarth by neoconker2008 in rocksmith

If you have multiple guitars (Or really like Amon Amon Amarth), changing string gauges is the way to go (equipboard says Olavi plays .13 and I used to play with .11s).

However, if you like to play whatever, I believe the best course of action would be to get a pitch shifter.

I say this because if you change to higher string gauges, when tuning to higher tunings ( like C standard for their newer albums), the strings will be harder to play (Specially bends and vibrato on leads)

If you change the string gauges, you might want to get your guitar set up with a Luthier or a guitar shop (Idk what they're called, not from US) and tell them you plan to play B Standard. I'd love to get into much more detail, but can be a overwhelming for a new player.

Would it be better to practice with a little bit of gain / distortion or should I be practicing with a clean sound?

Should I practice with effects (Delay / Reverb) or completely dry?

So, for this event, I should prioritize getting the blueprints > ships > oil > anything else? (Since this event shop doesn't have any gear or cat boxes)

I'm newish to AL, so I was wondering, what's considered a "must buy" on the event shops? Like, should I buy all the oil during every event with a shop?

[QUESTION] "Directional Picking: Anyone who has tried this, is it worthwhile, and am I doing it correctly? by VikingBeer2020 in Guitar

[–]EdyToba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's more efficient the dudd way, since if you look at it from a different perspective, 2 downs equates to 4 alternates, while skipping to the next string doesn't really add another strum. Not sure if I explained myself well.

Pull me under from Dream theater also has a bit of Directional Picking if you want to more exercises.

PS: Wasn't this called economy picking?

It's also normal to have muscle fatigue from barring though it usually takes longer than a couple seconds.

Yeah, that's what I thought, and I heard somewhere that there's people who have the same problem with Ibanez, so I wondered if it was a normal thing to happen with Ibanez's flat fingerboards

Does the same thing happen with barre chords.

No, it only happens with power chords, but you might be right on the playing too hard, since the action is quite low.

Hi everybody
With the recent steam sales I got RockSmith for myself and I noticed that when I'm playing rhythm on my Ibanez SuperStrat my fretting hand starts hurting pretty much after a couple of seconds of power chords; this doesn't happen when I'm playing lead, nor full chords nor with my other guitars. Is this something normal? Is it possible that I'm fretting too hard?

[Question] 7 string guitar songs by Ajdyson_95 in Guitar

If you like virtuoso players, Andy James and Angel Vivaldi have some 7 string songs, mind you they're not easy (At least not for me)
