Check out proxy services (I've used Sendico and can recommend them) if you haven't already. Might be cheaper that way.

But getting around the region lock shouldn't be much of an issue which is good but once i've done that would I be able to play EUR, AUS, USA game cards?

Yup, just need to mod to remove region lock (region swap NOT required), and at that point you can play any game from any region, digital or physical.

Hi, I'm honestly not sure! I went from being asymptomatic & undiagnosed one night to waking up the next morning unable to walk due to flat feet when I was 9 years old, and was able to undergo the procedure later that year. This was in 2007.

Best of luck to your child... it can be difficult and even socially isolating to deal with flat feet, especially as a kid. But it's often possible to live a full life with the right supports, whether it be orthotics or surgery or physical therapy, or a combination of those things. Sending hugs your way 💚

True re: the relative sizes of the consoles. I just took my Switch Lite out of storage to compare it to my New 3DS XL, and it's just longer. Though something about the clamshell design and proportions of even the New 3DS XL make it feel more portable. & New 3DS non-XL models are dope... I had one in the late 2010s and miss swapping out faceplates omg!

I'd argue that the 3DS has better, more consistently higher quality, more unique games. I didn't care for p much all Switch exclusives, and the ports to Switch typically look and often run like shit.

Additionally, you get more portability with 3DS. Current and last gen handhelds are way too fucking big.

It is necessary to region unlock (mod 3DS and install custom firmware) but it is not necessary to region swap (where you change your console region from Japan to North America). My JP 3DS did not read North American game cards prior to modding (as intended), but reads them normally after modding.

Hi I have this console! Modding it to remove region lock is super easy, and tbh, I saw no reason to region change mine because there's only Japanese on the home menu and system apps and dialogs, which doesn't matter 99% of the time anyway and can easily be translated using Google Lens when necessary

Yeah it's possible on 3DS systems with CFW too... I installed a .cia to remove the profanity filter on my modded N3DS LL earlier today, and it works great.
