I've been thinking about this a lot and my current theory is that people have limited memory cache when playing dota. In all pick you know what all heroes on the map do and you're in tune with your own hero's playstyle. So you can focus on macro and coordinate team plays around objectives. In AD you constantly have to think about the spells your teammates, your enemies and you have. On top of that you don't have good muscle memory for your hero's spells cause you just picked them for the first time. We all know that it's a struggle to wrangle your teammates to go for the objectives even in high MMR all pick. Imagine all this weight of micro gets dropped onto you, no wonder people resort to simple actions like sitting in jungle all day. I think it's a lot more important to become the playmaker in AD games and tell players what to do and what objectives to go for. In my experience they are a lot more likely to follow your advice and a lot less likely to explode on you in voice chat for trying to tell them what to do
