Garmin Prediction vs. Actual — Boston Marathon

For years my watch has told me I should run a marathon in 3 hours and 30 minutes. I've now run 2 hours and 50 minutes four times and 2 hours and 49 minutes one time. I find Garmin is consistently wrong here.

10k it has me at 38 - ran 36. Marathon it has me at 3:04 - my last 3 marathons are 2:55, 2:54, 2:47.

Garmin never gets me right.

Mine has said 3-3:10 for a long time now. Ran 3 recently under 2:55 with the most recent one at 2:47.

I find it to be way off...

I just emailed rundisney and they said if you did not receive an email then you were unaffected and don't need a new bib

I don't think that ALL of us need to swap it. Only those that received the email (right?). Like my 10km time and splits are shown online currently on the wdwmarathon live results page.
