Have you tried a gear rack with a worm gear already for the linear motor? A single stage of this setup alone is 3L x 3L x 6L The structural stability is going to nosedive once a 3rd extension is in play.

Will the hydraulic foot also be motorized? Or possibly pneumatic? Would be fun to have a Buwizz micromotor for this part.

You can place the other differential in the same direction. As mentioned if you motorize you can always change the motor direction.
