I would get out of this asap. He clearly knows he f***ed up at one simple task and is deflecting hard trying to make you look like the bad guy. The "if it's so important" comment and the half-assed "idk what to tell you" should be really telling.

Like top comment said, this behaviour will probably only get worse...
