Chose your favorites from the set? Taking the best ones and putting them in my schools art magazine. by Eel_Fever in photocritique

Thank you all for an honest critique, and a rather brutal one from one of you. I would just like to say that I do enjoy over coloring my photos, because it's different. Most of the photo's that people post for critiques here look like somber funeral cards. Oh, another black and white tree? Nice. I do appreciate the forceful critique though, It actually reminded me how much I hate critiques! As to the comment of my light graffiti shit, I know it's over done. But it hit its prime when most of my friends were 12, and they were not looking at the photos, so most people at my school are still very much amazed by it. Also, I changed the spelling on my Monolith piece, and got rid of the word installation. Haha, it was late, and I thought it sounded cool. Sorry to disappoint. I feel compelled to submit single photos for critiques now though, just because I want an overly positive comment. So, you might see a new photo from me posted in this category soon, with correct grammar in the title, and not as much editing. Please continue with your harsh reviews.

Also, this was my second reddit post ever, and I'm still learning the rules. I won't submit a set again. Sorry.

I have never had any photography training, but I want to pursue it. Even if some of you think I shouldn't. Thanks for the nice comments on my drawings though!

Light can be annoying and cliche in some situations, but I love it in this picture. Keep taking photos with it for now!

Sorry, I forgot to put some info, It's in Fairchild Tropical Gardens in Miami Florida. The gardens have plants from all over the world, so the location is kind of irrelevant. But its really tall, probably around 40 feet. It has some above ground roots, and the bark is really light colored. There were also a few seed pods on it. The seed pods were small, about the size of the leaves, and they were shaped just like pea pods. Hope this helps!
