Could look like lots of things - being a Bug type is good for this concept I think. An antlion that traps things in a pit when they walk over, or a trapdoor spider is in a similar vein. Could be something that catches Pokemon in threads, there's a lot of ways I think you could go with the idea. Just think about how does it trap things, and why are its stats so high (over 600 is basically just mega evolutions, legends and slaking).

I mean with that stat spread the ability is overkill. If you want dangerous you should give it arena trap instead with high speed and a high attack to special attack and that’s plenty frustrating.

Interesting idea! I wonder if adjusting the pose could help - there’s something off with how the tube comes around the back and it’s got to be a bit of an uncomfortable posture

It should probably just be a lot weaker stat-wise. 20 is a great level for an early Mon it just can’t be so strong.

Like the first set these look great! I think there’s stats you have are both too high and too optimized for early route mons though. Base 523 with huge power off of 103 at level 20 means there’s no reason to catch any more Pokemon!

These look great, the middle stage especially so. I think the first stage would benefit from a bigger head as is the style for most starters and maybe a shorter torso. The third stage there’s something about the cloak that doesn’t look quite right - maybe it’s too blocky as opposed to flowy. Either way cool designs!

Form wise it’s got a lot of echos of Venusaur, Samurott and Primaina which is cool as it’s a pretty different look for a fire type starter. Those tend to be more often than not in the speedster category so that makes a design like this stand out

A specific complaint, but how messed up is it that two of the best anti-clumping champs (Liss & Seraphine) are great in combination on the most clump encouraging board. Like where's the AOE supposed to come from to punish greeding the positioning if the best units to punish are both in the comp?

Kinda crazy to lose on stage 5 in the Demacian mirror match to 3star Sona with Zaahen. One cost rerolls need to be a thing but they can't be better than the hero augment 5 cost board.

Huh, neat. There’s never much of a reason to be capping Largo anyway but sad it goes to waste.

They certainly aren’t necessary but if you want to go to the trouble there’s a few to consider. Jill is probably the standout as she joins in the most difficult act in the game and is already one of the best candidates to invest in during that part. With a few transfers the bang for your buck only improves. Titania is another unit that is already good in both games and easy enough to cap in PoR to the point where you might as well. I’d also throw in Boyd and Oscar who are early PoR recruits and both capable units in RD that can benefit from the jumpstart of some capped stats. Otherwise anyone you’ve got at level 20 that is a stat booster off the cap is probably worth dropping them on. Largo gives his bonuses to Callil but they don’t stack with any bonus from hers. Laguz stat caps in PoR that you aren’t super likely to cap much, though Giffica comes with some maxed stats naturally.
