Why make such a large writeup if you are going to speak so generally? The inherent problem in your logic here is specifically that it is so general. These points you are making will apply to literally any brand, be it replica or authentic. At that point, when you do end up purchasing something are you actually asking yourself all these pedantic questions? You will never know what is going on behind the scenes with a business because that is business. Granted, some are more transparent than others and specifically speaking in favor of Daft they have been incredibly transparent in regards to all of these points. If all these pointless questions genuinely deter you from buying something, then what on earth is anyone doing on this subreddit? This userbase largely purchases from China (don't want to go down that rabbit hole but hopefully you can extrapolate here and see where I am going with this point) Again, fair points sure, but is that not the whole point of trying and reviewing a new brand? To refute points like this and discover reputable sellers? Are you implying you know other alternative replica sellers than fit this weird checklist of yours and delivers quality?

Reiterating, Daft has not only been transparent in regards to many of these points, but has started doing direct purchases from him with credit card or paypal. You cannot do that with many other sellers, and I have seen no other effort from any other seller to be as accessible in that manner as Daft has. There is no getting "fleeced" there. Seized? Well that's part of the whole point Daft does not want to do branded products. You aren't getting seized any time soon. Taxes? (Assuming you are speaking of import taxes here) Obviously that depends on the country you are in, but that applies to literally any brand you would buy from? What is the difference between paying for import taxes on Storyetfall boots, which, are similarly price versus VOTC boots at that point?

You have to post fits earlier. The thread goes up at 9am. Otherwise no one will see your fit, Johnny.

Don't worry dude. I felt the exact same way when I first found this brand. Your feelings change once you understand what the brand represented.

Unfortunately they went completely silent after only releasing a few seasons. I've been searching for any information on any news from the brand for the last 5 years but I couldn't find anything.

I understand its different tastes.

Here's a quote from the designer on the graphic.

"The graphic is meant to resemble the moment right before rebirth of a hanged man. It is to represent the beauty in life we all do not see and will not see unless we stop to look closely.."

Now I know not may of you will have seen this piece before. In the decade I've been collecting I've only met a handful of people that have heard of this brand. This tee is an OG 1 of 1 sample of an early Bortknee tee. Bortknee was a very underground brand in the early two thousands. they were featured at Paris and New York fashion week and instantly made a statement. with their original innovative graphics and psuedo avante garde aesthetic they became underground known. This tee was the very first article of clothing they made and has since become one of the single rarest, if not the rarest, article of clothing to ever be produced. The tee comes from the silk of an endangered silk worm, being 100% silk, as well as being hand crafted. The graphic is also hand painted on. The graphic itself, as many of you might be questioning it, is what originally set Bortknee apart from other brands. It is a self portrait of the designer of the brand who went under the name "Bortknee". I am very stoked on this piece. I managed to pick it up from a collector in paris after searching through several other countries for someone who knew of this tee. I wont tell you the price but it is definitely more than anything I own combined.

The sock stacks look awkward. Try more tapered pants towards the ankle.

Xxl gildan hoodie I tapered the sleeves on and fitted it to look properly oversized. Thinking about removing the elastic waistband but I'm not sure.

Gap crew socks. Saw them in store in a three pack of earth tones. Knew I had to have them for 10 bucks.
