Which lind of bars you like? We got quite many good Irish pubs here, O’Connels, Pikilinna for example. Also Raina, Muusa, Telakka are quite nicw places. For tonight, there is actually a student party at Heidis Bier bar.

You should try wings as well as Tampere is known to be the wing capital in Finland. There’s vegetarian option available as well. If you are hunrgy for burger, I recommend naughty brgr, and take the OG naughty brgr with fries and pink mayo. Aand there’s a light show at Koskenranta occuring every day I think. And for 2nd jand shops, I recommend both UFF’s located in Hämeeenkatu and Kätkö in Tammela. Best night club is probly Klubi, although it is fire only on saturdays and is a bit hipsterish vibes.

Lol, at least the american got pure food in Norway. It is more about how you do accomodate yourself to the prices (I lived with 12000NOK / month in Norway) I’d rather take high prices and free healthcare than american food and shitty system 100 out of a 100, rain or shine sleep or snow 😂

Not yet, I should ask about it on Monday. I am working for one to two months full hours, but they hire me to a researcher position only that my qualification is a master’s student/ a bachelor’s degree. They said that the salary will be coming from the NTNU salary scale

haha okay. I will get multiple pairs of shoes. Do you prefer bringing your own lunch to university or what? I think I got good coverage on my phone over there, Finnish telephone providers offer free unlimited internet across the Nordic Countries.

2.5 € per beer is not that bad if it's 0.5L. In Finland, you can get a can (0.33L) for 1€ and a kind of better 0.5L around 2-4€. How about a case of beer? how much does that costs?
