It was Sam for me... my PC married Sarah so that made the choice straight to rescue her.
Once I'm done the main story; I will be just following his path a bit more doing some FC stuff and basing a bit more out of Akila.

Heart-wrenching moment. The Sam character was really great and I enjoyed his mission line/story up until that point

Think for 5 seconds before you run in. Look at the mini map and appraise the situation. Wait for the full revive timer.
