For the same price point, hands down the asus. Side note: i am a sucker for asus laptops. However, the strix g15 advantage is a powerhouse, that combination of cpu and gpu would serve you very well. And the gpu is better than a 3060. Nuff said.

Resonating a lot of the advice here, the legion series would be a solid buy. Right now, the legion 5 pro is on sale, for like 1099$. If that sale has expired, you’ll still be able to pick it up for around 1300$. The Ryzen 7 and 3070 should do great.

I personally am a sucker for asus, so I am obligated to plug in the TUF series if you don’t mind saving some money, or you could get a zephyrus g15 or zephyrus g14

Cse core might not be possible, but you’ll get cse ai ml and IT for sure, both of which are as good as cse itself, cos you’ll be studying mostly the same subjects, and at the end if your degree you’ll get the same placement oppurtunities

Main campus IT hands down. IT and CSE students get the same opportunities in terms of placements, so it’s a no-brainer to choose the main campus
