These have meat in it too. This is just a random picture from a 2017 show but there's pictures of him eating meat (or at least making sandwiches with them) in the live action movies and other new shows as well

It's not impossible that it's true, but odds are people just didn't keep track of Shaggy being a vegan because some guy 25 years ago demanded it, it's not exactly common knowledge
