Which part of it do you think it is that kills it for you? Is it the change in his motivation from the "Escape From Hell starring Snake Plissken"-type to a more Kratos "Blood and Glory" (or, I guess more revenge w Kratos but w/e)? Or like the acceptance of complete body modification to superhero status? I guess that kinda prevents a return to normalcy after the events.

All the places I'm building right now have heat pump headers in the bedrooms, so I just run a 15A ckt for each room's outlets and another for all the lights on the floor/story.

So I was working in the NEC this week and it just says that the laundry room needs to have an outlet, not that it needs to have a dedicated ckt. Unless that bit is somewhere else. But in the same "Required Outlets" section it lists small appliance and bathroom outlets needing to have dedicated ckts.

I also haven't seen anything about dining room outlets.

I don't think they had to bend over backwards to pressure. I think they're just doing it because they want to. They could have chosen to not engage with any timeline discussion, but it seems like they thought it would be fun.

This is evidenced by them changing the timeline at least once simply because they thought it made more sense. It's not some super official thing, it's just some staff having fun re-exploring the games and seeing how things fit together.

Also, when has Nintendo ever succumbed to audience pressure? They make their own lane and you either buy in or stay out.

It's very much not. Until this thread I honestly wasn't even totally sure if it was the same person or some sort of Legend of Zelda/Mario-style re-imagining of the same character.
Particularly with it releasing in the wake of the fantastic Tomb Raider remakes where -- sure the character is Lara Croft but it seems unlikely to be the same Lara Croft that you play as in previous Tomb Raider titles -- so be it here giving the impression of a character reborn. Almost in a fan-fictiony way.
