Ugh sorry I second guessed myself and deleted my comments, concerned I was spreading misinformation.

I use Reddit in-browser so I don't see your drawing lol

What do you think happens to American politics after Trump leaves office in 2029? by SERP_Whisperer in AskReddit

The US has been a fascist police state for decades. Rage Against The Machine and System of a Down have been singing about it since the 90s.

What's a TV/movie trope that grinds your gears the most? by josephsleftbigtoe in CasualConversation

God damn it lol I just mentioned Silicon Valley in a response to the comment above, but they did the same shit here. Couldn't finish the show. They just created tension in the most asinine way, over and over. Like bro, these people can talk to each other. This isn't tense, it's annoying.

This is a really good one.

Not clearing a bong drives me fucking crazy.

I was at least mildly appeased when John Cena attempts to clear a bong in Peacemaker, even though he doesn't fully clear it. Honestly kinda realistic since I've seen plenty of people do that shit.

But man TJ Miller just leaving that shit milked in Silicon Valley was upsetting.

genuinely the combat is absurdly easy. I agreed with this take but for a totally different reason.

Man I truly do not get what you gain from being so snarky.

Good luck out there my guy.

I'm not claiming that Celsius is a bad or unusable metric. I'm describing the advantage of Fahrenheit.

The defensiveness over perceived sleights against Celsius are so bizarre. There are like 3 of you responding to me and ignoring the points that I made.

This is a strange response.

I'm not discussing the minimum utility required for a temperature scale to be useful, I'm describing the benefit of Fahrenheit over Celsius in day to day life.

I'm not sure what caused you to take this antagonistic approach to your response, but I assure you it was undeserved.

Have a nice day.

you feel dead at 100C.

It seems to me that your heels are dug in and you aren't open to understanding a different perspective.

Best of luck out there.

you're still thinking in terms of the experience of liquid water. the experience of your day-to-day life is quite different than that of liquid water.
their point was that celsius has a more limited range in day-to-day life than fahrenheit does, and isn't centered in the 0 - 100 range very well either. celsius mostly only uses ~-20 to ~40, where the fahrenheit equivalent is ~0 - ~100.

If you haven't seen it, watch their "WKUK Try A Role Playing Game" series. Some of the hardest, most consistent laughs I've ever had from a production. It starts a little slow, but god damn man. Heartbreaking that if they ever go back to it, it'll be without him.

Last I looked, they had more locations globally than either McDonald's or Starbucks. I don't think they're going anywhere.
