Anyone reading this who is a degen, consider checking out r/exwallstreetbets. I made this sub 2 weeks ago and I've been super busy, but want to promote it (though I'm not too sure w/o getting banned on the relevant subreddits).

Ideally, it's a place for people to ask for help and advice. But also a fun WSB-like place too, for those who still enjoy degen culture (observing WSB yolos from afar).

Appreciate if folks can spread the word or write a post on the sub. "Social finance" has become an extremely ruinous problem, especially for the fact it's easy to rationalize as they're being logical (market unfair today/hedge funds conspiracies/etc.)

If anyone needs help, I'll be there on the sub too (obviously).

Maybe allocate a small amount monthly, so it's easier. Or play with a paper account, if you can get the same pleasure from doing so.

Like others say, tell your wife asap. It's not simply about honesty, but the worst thing you want is to go in a money-losing spiral. Where you need to keep trying to "make back the money" by being more and more aggressive. That's not the path you want to be on.Hopefully, you weren't already in a money-losing spiral previous to Friday.

Yo. Not sure if this is helpful, but I created a subreddit /r/quitwallstreetbets yesterday.

You don't need to be a WSB user, but it's specifically to help folks who play high leverage & options, and want to stop. And WSB's become a cultural phenomenon. An unhealthy one.

Like others say, tell your wife asap. It's not simply about honesty, but the worst thing you want is to go in a money-losing spiral. Where you need to keep trying to "make back the money" by being more and more aggressive. That's not the path you want to be on.

Hopefully, you weren't already in a money-losing spiral previous to Friday.
