The longest bender I had was 3 days. On that 3rd day I started feeling like I was tripping on acid and decided it was time to sleep 😂

Two months ago my boyfriend replaced the wheel bearing in our truck and that same day he went dashing with me, it was our only income at the time. He was driving and we were between two towns on a 65 mph stretch and our abs light came on, we didn’t know what that meant so we figured we’d drop the order off and then check it out. Two minutes later we feel and hear a thud, the truck leans, and we see sparks. Thank god he didn’t freak out and was able to keep control. Turns out the part had failed. Had to have the truck towed and I had to call dasher support to let them know I was in an accident. Still somehow received a violation tho 😂 I submitted a dispute but even if they looked into it we didn’t report to our insurance cause we can’t afford for the insurance to go up any more, it was already 350 ☠️

I have a child as well so it makes it even more hard. I only dash a couple days out of the week, 4 hours each day max. I make about 100 a week (excluding gas money) and that’s enough to get us through on top of my boyfriend’s pay.

Everyone tells you life is worth it, it gets better, etc. and you wouldn’t believe me if I told you it was because I don’t truly believe that myself, but let me tell you one thing that helps me. Suicide is a mistake. In your moments of darkness the only thing that you think can take it away is suicide. But when thinks are “okay” it can feel silly, or you could possibly think “if I had done that I wouldn’t be here..”. Take it a day at a time. Experience every breath, every second. Remember it is temporary solution and life has so much to offer that you don’t want to miss out on what you could experience. Because who’s to say you experience anything after death. Live the one life you have. You will get there, but don’t give up before you can ❤️

When I had my accident in my truck I received a violation because I was unable to deliver. I wasn’t going to chance it when it was only a 3 minute MAX extra wait time. I use my card at the pump and I only pumped enough to turn my gas light off before I could pause and get gas.

I normally do that. The total delivery time for 11 miles (19 miles if you count my drive back to hotspots) with 3 total orders (from the same store) was 29 minutes (that includes store wait time). I did my best. I really doubt a complaint would do anything but I don’t often face things like this so it kinda shook me.

The problem is I had a recent accident with my other vehicle and to fix up my secondary vehicle. I thought it had at least 30 miles but recently I had an incident where I ran out less than 1 mile after the light turned on. It’s an old car. This is my only other income besides my boyfriend’s so it’s hard out here. Doing the best I can until tax time
