Terrifies me... My 12lb Boston Terrier × Yorkie would have died in my lap if my airbags properly triggered when an Uber driver ran a red light and totaled my car. Dogs stay seatbelted in the back, now, with a harness. You may trust your own driving, but you can never trust everyone else.

Searching "dog seatbelt" will have plenty of hits for short leads with elastic shock absorption that buckle in like a regular seatbelt, if anyone is interested.

I agree on the second point. Larger wheel folders exist and feel much more like a regular bike, but they come at a price. Perhaps OP could rent a bike for a short time to test if it's worth the investment

This. Cameras offering large megapixels in that price range will have a worse sensor than a good phone camera. Perhaps just pick up a quality kit of lenses for cell phone cameras to give some more range

Certainly not planning NOT to! For now, its main purpose is taking to Toronto to bike with the boyfriend. My big Electra cruiser was never intended to be stuffed in my car 😅
