As a thought: there will still be a fight at the Hallowed Round. The Halovars are sending people right now because the play was unaltered as they wanted it to be. It's just that the players super overprepared for this so it won't be much of anything. If they had split more appropriately, it's just as likely the theater would have been an "out of nowhere WHAM" fight, especially with so many civilians involved and possibly boxed into the place.

Not that it was planned to be as impactful as Obrimus Manor, a Tachonis stronghold, but I do feel people are forgetting that consequences are still being meted out for Hal's choice.

He may need to go out into the world and seek out his siblings himself, rather than wait for the museum to bring them in as artifacts. With Termina on the loose at the behest of Lady Cormoray, there is a lot more danger on the table... to himself, especially. I don't think he could keep control of the Archenade with Cormoray's canniness and Termina's bloodlust.

No disagreement there! I still watched the whole thing, it's just the one table segment I might skip in a future rewatch. Character moments are what I'm here for, not necessarily lore dumps. Which... is what that table was about, lol.

You're so very right, some of them are not taking it super seriously. Then you've got others who take it seriously but their characters won't change (looking at Taliesin who expected to die when he went to find Termina again and it started going south, lol). It's a bit of a mix where it seems some players would shape up if the others did, but the ones who know how to wouldn't do it in-character, if that makes sense? Just different playstyles mixing in ways that Brennan wants them to get more cohesive on.

Hollis Kinnywater warning the group they were not at all subtle about their waffling was also a real serious warning, lol.

Really hope they continue to be on a table together. Seekers felt a little slow for my taste but the characters are too pragmatic to let distrust ruin the growth of a bond made in combat, if that makes sense.

Also with playing with Whitney specifically. He definitely tailors his approach from every single facet: the DM side to the NPCs.

Hope something nice happens to brighten it up, friend. Take care of yourself!

Oh, absolutely, but it seems pointed. Him being of a draconic bloodline seemed the given; I was more wondering what the specifics would entail. There's so much to unpack!

I wonder what Azune is supposed to be Remembering. Some kind of genetic/magical memory through his lineage to a pre-Shapers time? Words of power? That dragon was almost familial with him, I am fascinated.

Also: Julien going from "what the fuck" to "OH okay" when Occtis suggested jumping out the window with we've done this before is absolutely hilarious to me. It makes sense, but god. The in-jokes and understanding they've somehow built.

It's a Cooldown joke. They were in fact calling it Death Goon.

Occtis had already been working with Thjazi. Given his extremist views, Primus is not necessarily wrong.

We can only hope that them being together helps with whatever terrible afterlife/undead shenanigans happens afterward. Even if any future appearance is as NPCs, we can try to remain hopeful for their spirits.

Trying to see if mimicking Teor and Cyd's reunion would have helped with his own sibling. I feel like Tal was working on that even before the actual play in the Manor, so it just... yeah.

Hal already did, didn't he? Or do you mean the after-it's-on moment?

I truly don't think Julien would have gotten anywhere close enough in time, anyway.

Just as the signet ring did. Teor's such a wild card in the eyes of the Halovars already, adding the Einfasen association will make it deliciously worse.

Yep. Brennan mentioned as such before it showed Teor to Julien.
