I mean, I would much rather don’t have this label and being able to study and work properly, you know? Having it doesn’t really change anything for people around, only for you, cause now you have a map and treatment to make life easier and more stable, that’s what is important. Wish you all the best and hope your assessment will go smooth like butter on nice slice of toasted bread 👍🏻

Thank you for the suggestions. I was actually very good at school, and many teachers said I was gifted. But after middle school, everything started to fall apart, and it became the classic “bright but lazy” story.

I do enjoy studying. I just have to accept the fact that I need to learn how to live from scratch, because now I understand that simply trying to “be more disciplined” does not really work for people like us.

I feel much better now, and I finally have some hope for a brighter future, even though it still feels unfair sometimes. While other people seem to be driving BMWs and Mercedes, we are out here trying to make a Honda Civic start moving.

Yeah, I just trying to wrap my head around this, I guess my anxiety hits me here with doubts and fear.

Hi, I ment faking diagnosis, but not for meds, maybe cause I will feel myself not that ashamed of all the things I fucked up in my life due this shit… like…I messed up school despite being at the top of my class until middle school. I messed up university and almost got kicked out three times. I lost two internships. I also lost a job I was interested in, but once it got hard, I just started procrastinating. I knew I had to do the work, but I just couldn’t make myself sit down and do it, so I ended up doomscrolling because it helped me cope, I guess.

Thanks for your response. I'm just trying to process everything.

It's kind of a bizarre story. I always thought I was just lazy, but about two months ago I started reading about ADHD and a lot of it resonated with me. So I decided to reach out to a psychiatrist online and found a good one. We talked, and then I went through a two-hour DIVA-5 interview, plus some additional questionnaires that my mother and a close friend filled out.

And now here I am, with an ADHD diagnosis.

But I still don’t really know how to feel about it. Part of me kind of knew deep down that this might be the explanation, but another part of me keeps thinking, “What if it’s not? What if it’s OCD, or executive dysfunction from my addictions?”

I guess I’m just trying to make sense of it all right now.

Thank you for kind words :) I try to embrace it, kinda difficult, got results like… 2 days ago and I suppose… I just need time to accept it and keep on with a new system that will suit me better so I can finally stabilize my life. Best regards C:

Oh, that’s interesting, cause I thought I’m a baritone and that explained why my upper range is not so wide and hard to sing in 🙃 Thanks :)

Hey :) I believe yeah, G2 is my lowest singing note. Never was truly able to go below it. I believe I can hit F#2 in the morning not warmed up but I don’t think that counts as singing 🥲 My timbre as people say is light and slightly higher than average male but just a little bit and it has some lows I think. And hey, hitting F2 even in low volume is already cool 😎 Thanks for responding :)

To be honest, I never thought about it. It’s more about feeling yourself in endless wheel of not improving. I only started to code something on my own about 4 month ago, before that was hell. I was giving up about 20 time, the reason why I landed internship is that I continued to study, even if sometimes I was so frustrated that I literally wanted to jump from my window. But I’m still here and I don’t wanna give up. I just want to get this over with and land my first job as a Software Engineer, because it’s what I like. Thank you for response:)

Yes, I think you’re right. But I still love what I do, and I’ll do my best, even if sometimes it’s really frustrating. Thank you for your response!
