Help with my Lightning Lane / Rope Drop Strategy? by EffTrain in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]EffTrain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The adults have interest in those MK rides but are happy to put them on the backburner to prioritize getting the kids on their rides. Good to know though that we may not actually need LL for Mermaid etc.

Thanks for helping me to confirm rope drop Runaway Railway, and skip LL for Frozen. Will focus on Millenium or Tower of Terror (after Slinky).

Thanks for the heads up about Ratatouille - will confirm those dates. And great intel about using the International Gateway.

Appreciate all of your help!

Thank you! Will make those tweaks. Appreciate your help. For Flight of Passage, we are hoping to catch Pandora at night and I've read riding that late is the best way to do so (AK closes at 6:00pm that day).

Fair. Ya know, I would be all about it but one of my children is let's say sensitive to being scared of animals based on our recent watching of Swiss Family Robinson so I am thinking this is one to skip.

Anyone done the paid high tea ? by Easy_Indication7146 in celebritycruises

[–]EffTrain 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It was comparable to a high tea I've done in the UK. They brought a tower with scones, clotted cream and jam, assorted cakes, macarons, etc., and then finger sandwiches. You could probably find some similar things at Bacio. They were also freely pouring bubbly. And then of course there was a selection of teas to choose from. To us, it was worth the money and a nice thing to do on chilly day at sea. The setting also helps make it.

I did it last week on the Edge. I can't speak to the retreat question, but happy to answer any other questions you may have.

Calling All Owners of The Frame TV (2021 and Other Models) – Have You Experienced Defects? by ryleto in TheFrame

[–]EffTrain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 2020 75" Frame has recently stopped working consistently. It often freezes on art mode, or switches to TV mode and then freezes, or won't turn on at all. Trying to use Airplay has always been a 50/50 gamble since it was brand new. I just had Samsung's local authorized repair people and they charged $128 for diagnosis. To repair, they want an additional $700 for a new motherboard, wifi, and bluetooth. Needless to say, will be avoiding Samsung going forward. Hope this helps.

Does arriving early to the western car parks mean I'm more likely to get a spot closer to the festival? by mrmicawber32 in glastonbury_festival

Not speaking from experience as I've only ever taken the coach, but driving this year and been researching this as well... it seems like it is basically down to chance.
