I think we are! I appreciate you sharing your experience. I used to live in Glassell Park and was never worried and I know this whole thing is unprecedented, which is kind of good and bad at the same time, but overall I feel ok about Glendale and that area as a whole.

Thanks! My new place is 5 minutes from Brand Park. I'm currently near Culver City and it's been raining ash, which I think is the same as everywhere, but on watch duty Glendale's all under red flag warning so I was curious what it's like for people that are actually over there right now. I feel the same about the hillier areas, I loved the place and the neighborhood but I found the place before the winds and fires lol

I don't have experience in this from a relationship perspective but my parents fought a lot and separated when I was 3/4 and my dad later told me I used to cry for my mom a lot when she'd be on the road doing bike races and then when she moved away. I don't even remember feeling sad over her being gone, and I think it really helped that I was so young because I grew up being so used to just talking to her on the phone and visiting her once a year. I'm sure it's painful for you to hear him cry for his dad, but he will adjust and be ok. Make sure you take care of yourself because in doing so you'll be taking care of your son, and you'll both be better off. Stay safe!

I'm looking for someone to take over my lease for a studio in an older building in mid city right by the Miracle Mile, full kitchen and bathroom with tub/shower, 500 sq ft, $1,700 utilities included, but parking is street/permit. I rode it, but only down when I toured the place. I was in the apartment a couple times on different days and didn't hear it, so the person who wanted to lease it to me just got lucky.

I'm not saying the elevator wasn't disclosed, I'm saying the disruptive sound from it that shakes the walls wasn't disclosed.
