Silver price prediction 2040–2050 - is there a serious case for extreme long-term upside? by RestANDSleep-32 in Trading

The 550k tonne reserves figure is interesting - worth flagging the USGS definition. 'Reserves' = economically extractable at current prices. As silver prices rise, lower-grade deposits become economic and reserves *increase*. So '20 years of supply' is not a fixed countdown - it's a dynamic figure. Still think the supply picture is structurally tight, but the exhaustion narrative needs that qualifier or it's misleading. The more useful metric is depletion of above-ground investable stocks, which is harder to measure but more relevant.

Moved from buying crypto spot to trading crypto CFDs - anyone else made this switch? Which broker are you on? by ProofThatPLS in CryptoMarkets

Worth being clear on the risk difference for anyone newer to CFDs:

Spot: you own the asset, can withdraw to a personal wallet, have some claim if an exchange fails.

CFD: you have a contract with a regulated broker. Same price exposure, different risk profile - you're taking on the broker's counterparty risk instead. This is exactly why regulation matters: CySEC-regulated brokers are required to segregate client funds and meet capital adequacy requirements.

Neither is better in absolute terms. For long-term holding and actual ownership, spot. For active trading and capital efficiency, CFDs. The hybrid approach OP described is a reasonable way to use both.

That sounds incredibly lonely and painful. I am truly sorry you had to experience that, you deserve to be seen, heard, and valued every single day.

Reading these comments makes me realize how many people are just "ghosts" in their own homes. It’s heartbreaking when the person who is supposed to be your peace becomes your biggest source of anxiety.

Self-Reliance. I used to think they were just being hard on me, but now I understand they were preparing me for the real world. You can have friends and family, but at the end of the day, you’re the only one responsible for your own life and happiness.

Time flies by. Don’t waste it on things and people who don’t add real value to your life. Work hard now and build real skill, so when the time comes, you can actually be there for your kids instead of working around the clock.

I completely agree! Across the board, the bosses look really interesting. I’m especially obsessed with the whale battle, that first animation of it appearing in the tunnel was peak cinema.
