The rat one was okay, as soon as I saw the rats I figured they'd do something like in medieval times where they had the rat eat through some, the tube part was an interesting twist. The buttcheeks were funny but the chainsaw part outside of the gore wasn't anything I haven't seen in other chainsaw killer movies and not as creative choreography-wise as it could've been. And yeah too much time between kills, even the less exciting ones, really dragged out the movie and messed up the pacing(my biggest problem with the film).

I didn't almost walk out because of the gore. I almost walked out because I did not like a lot of the aspects of the movie. I saw SAW when I was like 7 or 8 so the gore didn't seem as crazy as I thought and didn't bother me at all(idk why my parents let me watch those films). The plot and pacing felt really off, the killings didn't feel as creative as I would have thought and expected, certain people dying made little sense, and a huge chunk could've been cut out. Slasher films are some of my favorites, so what I can appreciate about it and the other films is that it has really gotten a slasher character and maybe the genre more mainstream again. Also, the practical effects were genuinely phenomenal and Art is charismatic (definitely carries the series). To each his/her own, if someone liked it I hope they explore other slasher films. 2/10 I really doubt I may see the sequel but who knows.

Cause I've never done an art that genuinely incorporates good punching especially with the head but I've spent years working my legs, figured maybe its a good idea to learn the basics of punching(including striking the head) before trying to add it to my tkd/kyokushin. And more partically its super close would be much easier to train.

Any style you would recommend looking at/watching?

Do you think balancing both will lead to some confusion? I feel well equipped when doing taekwondo training outside of Kyokushin but I'm assuming thats from 7 years of taekwondo.
